Ky-ManiKy-mani Marley who is close to completing his third album that is untitled is certainly a major star. The 26th of February, 1976 Ky-mani was conceived to the famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican taa One Love starred Ky-mani as Kassa. It's a captivating love story of the conscious reggae musician who is able to escape the darkness and finds out that he has a new world when he meets a young girl at the church. The film received a favourable review by film critics as and film festival attendees. It is still not yet released in cinemas. Frank Flowers directed the feature film Haven which Ky-Mani Marley recently made. It stars Bill Paxton, Orlando Bloom and is written by Frank Flowers. Haven premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. Furthermore, Ky-Mani has been set to reprise his lead character as the lead character in Shottas II that will begin production in 2004.He was five years old when his father died but Ky-Mani's voice takes you back to a familiar location. Ky-Mani's sound is a mixture of roots reggae layered over hip-hop, R&B as well as contemporary jazz.
