This victory enabled her to compete at Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia contest in June 1985. The 22nd of June in 1985, she was also crowned the contest. Mohr who had won the event, was able to compete for Georgia as Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. Even though she took home the title but she was not able to reach the top 10 of national contestants.
