Drake and Bad Bunny collaborated for the track MIA MIA (2018) in addition to Madonna and Maluma collaborated on Medellin, 2019 In 2020, a few Reggaeton artists were complaining about its direction towards the mainstream. In contrast, a young generation Rauw Alejandro wanted to keep the trend going. In his music, he often used elements from electronic dance music, and various other styles.
